Women of the mayflower, coming to america

Oh my gosh I so looked forward to this stitch. I knew I had a grandmother on board and just had to do this.  Then after starting it I found out I had two more grandmothers on board.   Might have had another but I have hit a road block on one of my grandmothers so I am not sure of my family down her side. Tracing back I found I had a lot of relatives on board and that both sides of my family had so many relatives in common.

Santa's Labor of Love

Santa's Labor of Love

It is in treasures in needlework summer 92 and it was produced as a kit.  It was called Santa's Wish List as a kit and Janlynn and Better Homes and Gardens also put it out .  The kits are or at least we're pricey on eBay but I just waited till I could snag the magazine because I like to pick my own fabrics.  I am working on a 16 count aida.... If I did it over again I would have used 32 count something.... There are a ton of 1/4 stitches.   I did one change.....  they called for one of the background colors to be stitches with one thread for a lighter affect but I change the color and used two strands to keep the coverage. 841 was added for that.   this is almost all full coverage so it is a lot of stitches.   So here are some progress photos

Finishes for 2019

This year has been totally weird.  My stitching went down for a bit just because it was super busy around here.  I had a health issue middle of the year which had me in the hospital for almost a week so there was a week of no stitching.  As you can imagine when I got home my house was in need of some serious attention so slower then plus I just felt terrible.  But now I'm back in the swing of things.  Some of these may be repeats but as far as I can tell here's all my finishes this past year.

Right now I've got three projects underway, Cupcake is still going, I'm working on a Santa piece, and a beehive piece both from magazines.... I'll pull that information here in a bit.

So... I think this is all I did this past year:
