Celtic Spring by Lavender & Lace

So I finally finished this one up.  I had purchased this already started and I had to pick out the gold that was in so that I could use Petite Treasure Braid on the entire project.  I also had to pick out quiet a bit of the skirt that had been done as there was an error up in it that couldn't be worked around.  But she's all done and I'm thrilled.  I did the skin one over one and changed the color of the backstitch in the face so the line wasn't as harsh.  I am thinking of putting some wording down the side either a Bible verse or part of one of my favorite hymns.  We'll see.

 

Wow,  I knew I had come back from social media this past year where I have a couple of grandbabies to watch now but didn't realize it had been a full year off of here.  Here's what I stitched in that time.   I'm sure I missed a couple things.  I have completed two Paula Vaughn pieces and the huge save-the-stitches piece I just finished up last month.  I'm now down to only one long term wip which is HAED cupcake started in 2016.  I have three other pieces underway right now and two of those I should finish up here in the next month or so.  I plan on starting in on mirabilia's red next month when I drop one of those two off.  I also want to get a few other things going.  I don't care if I have several projects underway all at the same time but I am looking to do some all the way this year and having some smaller things thrown in for a finish here and there.
